COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a basic subject to provide basic knowledge about the metabolism of important molecules in the body, biological catalytic mechanisms, enzyme kinetics, bioenergy, metabolic regulation mechanisms, the relationships between metabolic pathways, metabolic dysregulations. Knowledge of biochemical processes in the human body is the necessary foundation for understanding the biochemical and pathophysiological characteristics of common diseases, as well as the pharmacological and therapeutic properties of drugs. Therefore, the knowledge and skills in this course are the basis for students to continue studying subjects of relevant majors.
