Invitation to UK Vaccine Network Workshop (31 May)
ĐSQ Anh xin chuyển tiếp thông tin từ Bộ Y tế Anh – về hội thảo online – để tìm hiểu và chia sẻ thông tin, tạo network, chuẩn bị cho chương trình tài trợ nghiên cứu phát triển vắc-xin tại các nước đang phát triển. Hội thảo sẽ diễn ra vào ngày 31/5.
The UK Vaccine Network (UKVN) are currently considering investment in development of vaccines and vaccine technologies for priority diseases of epidemic potential in low and middle income countries; this work will be delivered by Innovate UK.
Innovate UK will be hosting an online workshop on behalf of DHSC on 31st May 2023 which will cover:
- Information about future funding for Vaccines with Outbreak Potential
- Guidance on working with relevant LMICs
- Talks from participating organisations on vaccine development, manufacturing and equitable access
- Networking

About the UKVN
The UKVN Project Is a £134 million UK aid programme which supports the development of vaccines and vaccine technology for infectious diseases with the potential to cause an epidemic in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The UKVN funding was key for the foundational research and progression of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. Other key success of previous funding include 11 vaccines progressing to Phase 1 clinical trials, establishment of two international manufacturing hubs and at least 15 UKVN projects receiving follow on funding to progress research.
