The Trade Union Congress XXII of the Hanoi University of Pharmacy (term 2013-2015)
On the morning of25 April 2013,the Trade UnionCongress XXII of the HanoiUniversity of Pharmacy (term2013-2015)was solemnlyheld intheamphitheatre12.
Attending and directing the Congress, on behalf of Vietnam National Union of Health Workers were Mr. Nguyen Van Quyen, Deputy chairman and representatives from some offices under Vietnam National Union of Health Workers, Hanoi Medical University, Ha Noi University of Agriculture, Department of Chemistry of University of Sciences. On the side of the Hanoi University of Pharmacy were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Hoa, Party Committee Secretary-Rector; Prof. Dr. Thai Nguyen Hung Thu, Vice-Rector, the officials in the Party Executive Committee, representatives of the Youth Union, Student Union, the former Teacher Association and former Trade Union presidents over times and 130 excellent delegates representing for more than 400 members of Trade Union from 40 divisions of the University.
After the opening speech, on behalf of the Presidium, Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai presented the report on activities of the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy during term XXI. With the illustration images, the political report of the Congress has highlighted the achievements of the XXI term under the leadership of the HUP Party Committee and with the in-depth direction of Vietnam National Union of Health Workers. The Executive Committee of Trade Union term XXI has inherited and promoted the achievements of the previous term, continuing the innovation in all activities, performing well its functions, activities which were closely attached with political mission of the university as well as encouraging members to overcome numerous difficulties to fulfill assigned tasks. Through the movements, the activities of Trade Union have been created the close links, the mutual support between individuals and units to contribute intellectual strength and together build the university to meet the growing demands on pharmaceutical human resource training and scientific research linked to practice, maintain the Name of Hanoi University of Pharmacy. In the XXI term, the Trade Union has cooperated closely with the government and has received its university support, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union has developed and implemented well the given targets by Congress. With the achieved results, in the last term, the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2010, received Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour in 2011 and from Vietnam National Union of Health Workers in 2012, Certificate of Merit of the Trade Union Confederation and Vietnam National Union of Health Workers on achievement to coordinate between with government and trade unions.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyen, Deputy Chairman of Vietnam National Union of Health Workers and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Hoa, Party Committee Secretary-Rector appreciated the achievements of the Trade Union in the last period. The two speakers also agreed with the goals, targets, tasks and solutions in the activities set by the Trade Union in the next term. They proposed the Executive Board of Trade Union in the next term should be more actively creative to successfully implement the Resolution of the HUP Party Committee of the 19th term and the Resolutionof Vietnam National Union of Health Workers (2013-2018 term) to continue with innovation on content and mode of operation, to maintain and enhance the representative and capacity in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, to mobilize all members promoting intellectual, creative potential to fulfill the political tasks and contribute for building and maintaining the title of Excellent Trade Union Unit for a more stable and constant development of the University meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country and international integration.
In the high spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress has elected 15 members for Executive Board term 2013 - 2015.
The Trade Union Congress of the Hanoi University of Pharmacy XXII (term 2013 -2015) was a great success.
