Hanoi University of Pharmacy

Hanoi University of Pharmacy bases in No15 Le Thanh Tong St., Hoan Kiem district of Hanoi, which is regarded as one of the oldest universities in Vietnam with about 100 years old.​​​​​​

However, at the moment, the total area of University is merely 1.45 ha (including its dormitory in Tho Lao), which cannot satisfy the ever-growing demands of training qualified pharmacists in Vietnam.

Therefore, since 2007, Hanoi University of Pharmacy has formed the project named “Developing Hanoi University of Pharmacy to become a national specialized university meeting regional standards by 2020”. The aim of this project is to build up a campus in Bacninh city (30km from Hanoi) with an 21- ha area. Beside a 21- ha campus meeting the studying and living demands of 5,000 students, the project will supply necessary modern standard equipment for lecture rooms, laboratories and research rooms in accordance with the requirements of advanced research and education curricula, meeting the regional standards.

The project is expected to be completed in 2020. It is believed that Hanoi University, with its ever existing capacity and prestige, will make a huge contribution to promoting the quality of training in line with the increasing social demand of Vietnam in the integration period.​
