RECEPTION AND MOU SIGNING CEREMONY WITH K-MEDI HUB RESEARCH CENTER, KOREA

On the afternoon of July 10th, 2025, at the Meeting Room, Hanoi University of Pharmacy held a reception ceremony for the K-MEDI Hub Research Center, Korea to visit, work and sign memorandum of understanding with Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of K-MEDI Hub Research Center, Korea, there was Mr. Gusun Park, Chairman of K-MEDI Hub Research Center, and other senior staff of the Center.

On behalf of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam, Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Quyen, Head of the Department of Science Technology and Development Cooperation, MSc. Dinh Thi Hien Van, Deputy Head of the Department of Science Technology and Development Cooperation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Chi, Deputy Director, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology; Dr. Do Hong Quang, Head of Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Thanh Huong, Head, Faculty of Biotechnology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Thu Giang, Head, Faculty of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hai, Deputy Head, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and staff of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

On behalf of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation of K-MEDI Hub Research Center who visited, worked and attended the MOU signing ceremony with Hanoi University of Pharmacy. Mr. Gusun Park, Chairman of K-MEDI Hub Research Center, also delivered a welcoming speech and expressed his honor to visit and cooperate with Hanoi University of Pharmacy. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam highly appreciated K-MEDI Hub as a leading research center in Korea, especially strong in the fields of biomedicine, drug development and pharmaceutical science.

After the ceremony, the delegation visited a number of laboratories of specialized faculties such as the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology; Faculty of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and some prominent locations on campus, thereby gaining a more realistic perspective on the learning and research environment as well as the characteristics of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

Hopefully, in the coming time, the two sides will have comprehensive cooperation in areas such as exchange of research students, lecturers, research cooperation, international publications, as well as co-organization of international conferences and seminars in the field of pharmaceutical training and research.
