Students from Hanoi University of Pharmacy understand quality assurance activities under AUN-QA standards
The competition on understanding quality assurance activities according to AUN-QA at Hanoi University of Pharmacy is a meaningful event aimed at creating an enriching playground and providing favorable conditions and opportunities for students to approach and understand the AUN-QA quality assurance system. It promotes and disseminates to students the mission, vision, core values, and educational philosophy of the university, along with the quality assurance system to monitor performance of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
A large number of students had been attracted by the competition. More than 4.500 students took the online test in the first round. With great enthusiasm and effort, 10 teams had entered into the final round of the competition.The final competition of the comprehension of the AUN-QA quality assurance activities was organized on May 23, 2024.
Attending the competition were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai, Vice Rector and Head of the Advisory Board of the competition; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen, Vice Rector and Head of the Jury; representatives from various departments and units; representatives from the Youth Union, the Student Association, the Pharmacy Volunteer Club; the contestants; and other students.

On behalf of the Advisory Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai, Vice Rector of the University, shared her insights to promote quality assurance culture in higher education with students. She encouraged their enthusiastic participation in the competition and their proactive engagement in learning about the internal quality assurance of the University in place to ensure that its objectives and standards are met.

There were three stages in the final contest: the Quiz, the Knowledge, and the Final Ranking. Based on the results of the Quiz and Knowledge Rounds, the jury selected the six best teams to advance to the Final Ranking Round. (K75B, K76A, K76B, K78A, K78B, HD).

The Final Ranking Round was highly energetic, each team answered questions that the jury asked them. Each student collaborated with team members, sharing ideas and feedback to overcome the challenge and gave the best possible answers.

The competition on understanding quality assurance activities according to AUN-QA at Hanoi University of Pharmacy was successful. Students who participated in this competition could enhance their personal skills, they also might understand and actively work to improve the quality of education at Hanoi University of Pharmacy. The competition also provides Board of directors with an insight into student views on the quality assurance system. From that, the quality of education will be improved to meet the needs of the students, of the other stakeholders and to meet the mission, vision, core values, and educational philosophy of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
