Donating hand sanitizers to Vietnam National Union of Health Workers, French Embassy, Italian Embassy and some local hospitals in Hanoi.

Replying the positive feedbacks of the first donation of hand sanitizers produced by HUP and the need of hand sanitizers of some hospitals, health centers and organizations located in Hanoi, in the morning of February 20th 2020, Hanoi University of Pharmacy continuously donated hand sanitizers for the second time to 12 hospitals and organizations including Vietnam National Union of Health Workers, National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, National Hospital of Lung Diseases, Vietnam National Cancer Hospital, E Hospital, Dong Da General Hospital, National Hospital of Endocrinology, Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, etc. and especially French Embassy and Italian Embassy - two international organizations located in Hanoi. The number of hand sanitizers donated by HUP this time was more than 1,000 liters.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thanh Binh,president of Vietnam National Union of Health Worker on behalf of staffs in medical branch and organization receiving hand sanitizers, gave  sincere thanks to lecturers, staff of Hanoi University of Pharmacy. For thismeaningful and humanistic task. Due to the complicated changes of disease, the white blouses fighters of HUP Joined hands with the medical sector to share the difficulties with community.

Also, in this meeting HUP directorates complimented 40 HUP officials, lecturers and technicians on their volunteers’ effort in researching, preparing and manufacturing hand sanitizers for COVID-19 prevention.

With such necessary and practical activities, Hanoi University of Pharmacy made a major contribution to responsive process and effective prevention of COVID-19 pandemic.
