Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation Scholarship Awarding Ceremony to 20 outstanding students of Ha Noi University of Pharmacy and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City.

Within the framework of cooperation between Hanoi University of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City and Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation, Korea, on 21^st September, 2016, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City in cooperation with Ha Noi University of Pharmacy and Chong Kun Dang scholarship Fund awarded 20 Kochon scholarships to 20 outstanding students of both universities.

HUP welcomed the expert delegation of the project “ Joint capacity building in biomedical higher education through adopting international academic standards and transferring technology between European and Vietnam universities (EDUSHARE)

The project Joint capacity building in biomedical higher education through adopting international academic standards and transferring technology between European and Vietnam universities (EDUSHARE) was approved and financed by EU Erasmus+.The overall objective of the project is that with the help of European colleagues, Vietnamese universities will have the capacity to provide higher education and training to future healthcare professionals who contribute to improving the health of the local people with their high quality knowledge and skills and by that fill a significant gap in the labour market.

Graduation Degree Awarding Ceremony for the 3rd course Mekong Pharma Masters (2014 - 2016)

In the morning of 15 th November 2016, Ha Noi University of Pharmacy in collaboration with Pierre Fabre Foundation and the Embassy of France in Vietnam held the Pharmacy Master Degree Awarding Ceremony issued by the University of Paris Descartes and University of Toulouse Paul Sabatier for master candidates of 3^rd promotion ( 2014 -2016 ) - the transregional Mekong Pharma Master program for students from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

Celebration of 55 years of construction and development & 102 - year tradition of pharmacists training

In the morning of 12^th November 2016, in the campus of 13 – 15 Le Thanh Tong Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Hanoi University of Pharmacy solemly held the Celebration of 102 – year tradition of pharmacists training, 55 years of construction and development. Attending at the Ceremony are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Cuong – Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh – Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Province; representatives of the departments under the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Training and the central agencies and localities; representatives of health institutions, universities, colleges, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions; and generations of leaders, faculty, students, and alumni.

On 6 ^th October 2016, in Hall No 12, Hanoi University of Pharmacy formally held the graduationandDegree of Associate in Pharmacy AwardingCeremony for 191 fresh Associate in Pharmacy Regular students in which 178 students of 4th course and 13 students of 2^nd and 3^rd courses.

Welcome the delegation of Institute of Traditional Medicine, Ministry of Health Lao PDR

In the morning of 12^th September 2016, the delegation of Institute of Traditional Medicine (ITM), Ministry of Health of Lao PDR leaded by Assoc.Prof. Kongmany Sydara, paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP) for seeking chances of collaboration with our university.

The visit of the delegation from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on exchange program with GIZ, Chulalongkorn University and Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

On the 27th June 2016, Ha Noi University of Pharmacy received a delegation from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) consists of Dr.Dirk Rabien and Dr.Christina Foerg-Wimmer - Pharmaceutical Consultants to visit and look for the potential cooperation between Ha Noi University of Pharmacy in Vietnam, GIZ and the Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. This cooperation shall be aligned with the harmonization efforts of the ASEAN Economic Community. Aiming to facilitate exchange between academic institutions in the region and upgrade of the pharmacy training curriculum to include more practice-oriented components as needed by the local pharmaceutical industry, including on-site practical training and ultimately pursue greater harmonization of education throughout the ASEAN region.
