Welcome the delegation of Korea United Pharm Int'l Joint Stock Company(KUP), Korea
On the morning of November 10th, 2022, Mr. Yang Jin Young, General Director of Korea United Pharm Int'l Joint Stock Company (KUP), Korea and his colleagues paid a working visit and looking for the opportunities to expand cooperation with Hanoi Pharmaceutical University (HUP).
Welcoming the delegation there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam, HUP’s Rector and Representatives of the Department of Training Management, Department of Student Affairs and Health, Department of Science technology - Cooperation Development.
With the goal of contributing to strengthen the capacity in pharmacy training in Vietnam, from 2014 up to now, Korea United Pharm Int'l Joint Stock Company, Korea has awarded 170 Homtamin scholarships with a value of nearly 1 billion Vietnam dong to the 3rd and 4th year students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy whom had excellent academic achievements. In addition, in the cooperation program between HUP and KUP, every year, HUP receives student delegation from Korean universities training on pharmacy field to visit and learn about pharmacy training in Vietnam.
After listening to Mr. Yang Jin Young, General Director, introduce on the company's achievements and innovation policies to meet the post-Covid period, both sides discussed some issues related to expanding cooperation on researches or recruit personnel for the company's factories in Vietnam and Korea.
At the end of the meeting, the Signing Ceremony for Scholarship Sponsorship Agreement between KUP and HUP was carried out in the presence of Representatives of both sides. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam, on behalf of the Board of Directors, thanked KUP for their remarkable support to Hanoi University of Pharmacy during the past time and hope to continue to receive the support from KUP. Mr. Yang Jin Young also thanked HUP for warm welcome and hope that the two sides will expand types of cooperation in the near future.
