WELCOME DELEGATION OF TAIWANESE UNIVERSITIES OF PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES TO HANOI UNIVERSITY OF PHARMACY
On the morning of August 1, 2024, Hanoi University of Pharmacy received a delegation of Taiwanese universities of pharmacy and pharmaceutical companies led by Prof. Dr. Chang Yuan-Siun, China Medical University, Taiwan (China) to visit and explore opportunities for cooperation in training and scientific research, especially in the field of medicinal herbs and herbal product development.
On the side of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen, Vice Rector and representatives of the Department of Science Technology – Cooperation Development, Faculty of Medicinal Materials - Traditional Pharmacology and the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van On, Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Pharmacognosy and Traditional Medicine, introduced medicinal plant resources in Vietnam. Next, Prof. Dr. Chang Yuan-Siun, Chinese Medical University, Taiwan (China) introduced the Research and Field Investigation Plan for the cultivation of new medicinal herbs in the South. Thereby, Prof. Dr. Chang Yuan-Siun expressed his desire to open up a more extensive cooperation opportunity in the future between Hanoi University of Pharmacy and Taiwanese Universities of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical companies in the coming period.
