The 39th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th; Announcement of the Rector's Decision; Welcome back a delegation of officials, learners and students completing the task of supporting the prevention of COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.

​In the joyful atmosphere of teachers and students across the country towards Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th, with the excitement and pride of the hero university having 107 years of pharmacy training history, on the morning of November 18th , 2021 at the 12th Lecture Hall, Hanoi University of Pharmacy solemnly held a meeting to celebrate the 39th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day; Announcement of the Rector's Decision and Welcome back the delegation of officials, learners and students who completed the task of supporting the prevention of COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.

HUP side attended the celebration, including Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector; MSc. Pham Van Quyen - Vice Rector; members in the Party Committee, the University Council, the Executive Committee, the Youth Union, and the students; former principals, vice-principals, head/vice head of departments, units, lecturers, officials, employees and the delegation of officials and students completing their support tasks of prevention of the epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City.​
​For Guests, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, there were Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - Deputy Minister; PharmD. Vu Tuan Cuong - Director of Drug Administration of Vietnam; Dr. Tran Viet Hung - Deputy Director of the Organization Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Trung- Deputy Director of Department of Science, Technology and Investment; MSc. Hoang Thi Thom - Deputy Director of the Department of Emulation and Commendation. For the Party Committee of Hanoi Universities and Colleges, there was Mr. Pham Van Hai - member, Head of Propaganda Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Anh Tuan - Chief of the Office of the State Council of Professors represented the State Council of Professors. Leaders of training and medical institutions included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine; MSc. Tran Tuc Ma - General Director of Traphaco JSC; Representatives of Deloite Company attended and sent flowers to congratulate the university.
On behalf of the leaders of the university, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Rector of the University sent the teachers, learners and students the best wishes on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and congratulated the delegation of officials and students for completing their supporting tasks successfully. Generations of teachers and students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy have continued the tradition of the hero university. Although there are still many difficulties and hardships, the teachers have still beendedicated day and night to carry out the mission of training, imparting knowledge, skills with enthusiastic hearts to serve the community and the country. Under the circumstance of the people in the Southern provinces were struggling against COVID-19, the 61-member delegation of staff, learners and students were sent to be with the people to fight against COVID-19, overcome all difficulties and hardships to successfully complete the mission and returned. All teachers and students have continued to write the glorious history of the hero university , which is the mission of taking care of the community health.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health- Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan presented a decision to officially appoint Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam as the rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy. In his speech at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan gave the best wishes to all teachers and students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy and tasked the Party Committee, the University Council, and the Board of Directors, lecturers, staff, learners and students to have fine performance in the coming time.

On behalf of the Directorate Board of university, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy promised that the leaders of the University would unitedly complete all assigned tasks, with the core task of enhancing Hanoi University of Pharmacy to meet five-star standard of a research-oriented university until 2025.​

The school year 2020-2021 has ended, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the university has successfully completed the assigned tasks, the dedication of teachers, officials and employees have been recognized and honored by leaders at all levels, including: 64 individuals of the delegation completing the task of supporting the prevention of the epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City; 09 departments/units and 14 individuals were awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Health. 
The Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Traditional Medicine were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; The title of Excellent Teacher was awarded to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh; The title of Emulation Fighter at ministerial level was presented to 11 individuals.
Also at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council gave diplomas to seven students fresh from university and one new master who were unable to attend the Graduation Ceremony due to their participation in the prevention of the COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.
