The 39th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th; Announcement of the Rector's Decision; Welcome back a delegation of officials, learners and students completing the task of supporting the prevention of COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health- Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan presented a decision to officially appoint Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam as the rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy. In his speech at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan gave the best wishes to all teachers and students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy and tasked the Party Committee, the University Council, and the Board of Directors, lecturers, staff, learners and students to have fine performance in the coming time.

On behalf of the Directorate Board of university, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy promised that the leaders of the University would unitedly complete all assigned tasks, with the core task of enhancing Hanoi University of Pharmacy to meet five-star standard of a research-oriented university until 2025.
The school year 2020-2021 has ended, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the university has successfully completed the assigned tasks, the dedication of teachers, officials and employees have been recognized and honored by leaders at all levels, including: 64 individuals of the delegation completing the task of supporting the prevention of the epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City; 09 departments/units and 14 individuals were awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Health.
The Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Traditional Medicine were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; The title of Excellent Teacher was awarded to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh; The title of Emulation Fighter at ministerial level was presented to 11 individuals.
