Receiption of the delegation from Griffith University, Australia
On January 9, 2023, within the framework of side events of the Asian Federation Pharmaceutical Science Conference 2023 (AFPS 2023), Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP) warmly welcomed the delegation led by Prof. Dr. Shailendra Anoopkumar -Dukie, Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences along with her colleagues of Griffith University, Australia to HUP.
On January 9, 2023, within the framework of side events of the Asian Federation Pharmaceutical Science Conference 2023 (AFPS 2023), Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP) warmly welcomed the delegation led by Prof. Dr. Shailendra Anoopkumar -Dukie, Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences along with her colleagues of Griffith University, Australia to HUP.
For the HUP side, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai - Vice Rector and representatives from Department of Student Affairs - Clinics, Office of Academic Affairs, Science technology and Cooperation Development Office and Faculty of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology.
Prof. Shailendra Anoopkumar - Dukie, Dean of School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, Griffith University, Australiaintroduced about his university and its educational programs, policies related to international students. On the side of HUP, Dr. Pham Bao Tung-lecturer of Faculty of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology presented on HUP the training programs, especially the 5-year pharmacist training program at Hanoi University of Pharmacy. He also proposed opportunities for HUP students to engage in exchange programs and pursue further studies at partner universities in aabroad.
During this working visit, both parties discussed on the future collaboration activities and agreed on prioritizing (i) implementing student and faculty exchange programs as well as short-term research programs for students, (ii) enhancing cooperation in education and scientific research, approaching to build and develop joint training programs. The working visit of the Griffith University delegation ended with the fruitful results by both sides agreeing to implement extensive cooperation in the next stage.
