Doctoral Thesis defense by Nguyen Khac Tiep, a Lecturer of HUP, at UCL, Belgium
After 4 years of meticulous research under the supervision of Prof. Van Bambeke, he successfully defended his PhD thesis with the title "Antibiotic resistance in Vietnam in relation with persistent forms of infection” on June 17, 2020 at Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium.
The defense was organized online via Microsoft Teams due to the complicated situation of COVID-19 in Belgium. There was Associate Prof. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai, Vice rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, attending the defense. In addition, there were also other colleagues such as Prof. Nguyen Dinh Luyen – former Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Industry; Assoc. Prof. Dam Thanh Xuan – former Deputy Head of the department; Assoc. Prof Nguyen Thi Thanh Duyen – Deputy Head of the department; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Hoang Anh – Director of DI & ADR Center / UCL alumni. Some other members joined to encourage and cheer with Nguyen Khac Tiep success.
