Activities of Mid-Autumn Festival in 2013
In the evening of 19th September 2013, at the amphitheatre 12, the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy co-ordinated with the Youth Union, Student Union held a "Mid-Autumn Festival evening" for the teenagers and children whose parents work in Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
Attending the festival were Mr.Nguyen Manh Tuyen, Vice-President of the Trade Union, Ms.Nghiem Thi Hoai Phuong, member of Trade Union Committee, other members of HUPExecutive Board and Mr. Le Ngoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of HUP Youth Union.
At this festival, the teenagers and children participated in many activities such as listening to the history ofthe Full Moon Night in Autumn, playing the folk quizes, watching the dragon dance and music performances as well as enjoying special cakes and fruits.Also, on this occasion, the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy presented the gifts worth VND 53,700,000 to 342 children, including 6 children who had passed the university entrance exam in 2013.
Before this occasion, the Trade Union coordinated with the Student Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy to subscribe 6 gift boxes and over 11 million VND. In the morning of 14th September 2013, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen, Vice-President of the Trade Union, Ms. Nghiem Thi Hoai Phuong, member of the Standing Committee and the Volunteer Students Group granted 160 gift packages and 11 cash gift packages to the poor children suffering serious diseases and hospitalizing at the Department of Hematology and Tumor in the National Hospital for Children.
