The Department of Science Technology and Development Cooperation was established under Decision No. 479/QĐ-DHN dated 23 June 2022 by the Rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, based on the reorganization of the former Department of Scientific Management and the Department of Development Cooperation. Pursuant to Notification No. 339/TB-DHN dated 01 July 2022, the Department was consolidated in terms of structure and personnel, and officially commenced operation under a modern administrative model aligned with the University's development strategy.
The Department functions as an advisory unit to the Rector in managing and coordinating activities related to scientific research, intellectual property, technology transfer, and development cooperation at national and international levels. The Department also serves as the Editorial Office of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Research and Drug Information, contributing to the promotion of scientific publications, academic exchange, and international visibility of the University.
The Department plays a key role in developing strategies, mechanisms and plans for scientific and technological development; organizing, monitoring and evaluating research activities; fostering innovation and encouraging technology transfer. In addition, the Department expands partnerships with universities, research institutes, enterprises, and international organizations, thereby promoting academic collaboration and supporting the University’s roadmap for integration and sustainable development.
Currently, the Department has 07 staff members, including 01 Associate Professors, 01 PhD, 03 MScs, 01 Pharmacist and 01 Bachelor).
