Reception of the delegation from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan (China)

In order to strengthen the relationship and promote cooperation between Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP) and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan (China), on the morning of September 30, 2025, a delegation from NYCU, led by Prof. Dr. Huang Chi Ying – Dean of the School of Pharmacy, paid a working visit to HUP.

 

Accompanying there were Assoc. Prof. Po-Lin Liao (Institute of Health Risk Assessment and Food Safety), Dr. Shao-Chin Chiang, Assoc. Prof. Yu-Chan Chang (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Assoc. Prof. Wan-Yi Cheng, and senior representatives from the Show Chwan Healthcare System.

Welcoming the delegation on behalf of HUP were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Quyen – Head of the Department of Science Technology and Development Cooperation; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien – Director of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology; MSc. Dinh Thi Hien Van – Deputy Head of the Department of Science Technology and Development Cooperation, along with representatives from relevant departments.

Over the years, Prof. Huang Chi Ying has played a key role as a bridge between NYCU and HUP, directly or indirectly facilitating scholarships and short-term training opportunities for many lecturers and students from HUP through various academic formats, including conferences and workshops.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen – Vice Rector and representative of HUP’s leadership – acknowledged the positive results of the collaboration between the two universities, particularly in faculty and student exchanges as well as scientific research. As a strategic and promising partner, he also outlined several directions for future cooperation, including joint supervision, collaborative research projects, capacity building in research, and enhanced mobility of faculty and students between the two institutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Huang Chi Ying expressed his sincere thanks for the warm welcome from HUP and expressed hope that the partnership between the two universities in academic exchange and scientific research would continue to grow stronger in the coming years.
