Approching to the Middle of Vietnam
Last week ( from 24th October 2016 to 28th October 2016), the Volunteers Youth Team under Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP) in the collaboration with Nghe An Association of fellow- countrymen, launched the event “Approaching to the middle of Vietnam”, especially people in Quang Binh and Ha Tinh province to overcome all the consequences and difficulties which were caused by flood. The event succeeded and the fund had been raised up to 27 million VND.
Until last Saturday (29th October 2016), the Representative of HUP Volunteers Youth Team and Nghe An Association of fellow- countrymen made a trip to Huong Khe, Ha Tinh province and provided them the fund. Here, they organized many activities in order to share great pains and help them to overcome the difficulties.
The activities included:
-Health check and drugs distribution to people in Huong Khe Town.
-Rewarding 41 scholarships to the pupils of Hoa Hai Secondary School located at Hoa Hai Village, Huong Khe Town, Ha Tinh Province.
-Giving gifts for two households which have struggle life.
-Visiting Ly Tu Trong Memorial Statue and Dong Loc Junction.
A big thank to all departments, faculties, teachers and students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, who has been very enthusiastic with people in the disaster and given generous donations, without them, this event as well as the trip to the middle couldn’t be successful.
