Summer student exchange program 2024 at Hanoi University of Pharmacy
Within the framework of international cooperation of Hanoi University of Pharmacy with many countries around the world, following the success of the summer student exchange program in 2023, this year, many exchange universities have registered students to participate in the exchange program at HUP.
In June, Hanoi University of Pharmacy welcomed 3 delegations from 3 major universities in Asia, including: Mahidol University, Thailand, Chinese Medical University, Taiwan, (China) (CMU), Republic of Indonesia Defense University, Indonesia (RIDU).
With the program arranged by the University according to the proposal from HUP’s partner to meet both the content and teaching duration, international students can participate in studying at the faculties of Pharmacognosy – TraditionalMedicine, Pharmaceutical Management and Economics, Pharmacology - Clinical Pharmacy,… In addition to the knowledge gained from good and useful lessons, students also have many opportunities to experience the actual cultivation area of medicinal herbs, learn about medicinal plants, other local medicinal herbs, visit Meracine pharmaceutical company in Bac Ninh province, Phuong Chinh Pharmacy, Lan Ong Drug Market, Central Hospital (Viet Xo Friendship Hospital), Provincial Hospital (Saint Paul General Hospital).
On the morning of July 24, 2024, the closing ceremony was held in a warm and solemn atmosphere with the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai, Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen, Vice Rector and representatives of the Department of Academic Affairs, Department of Science Technology and Cooperation Development, Faculty of Pharmacology - Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Management and Economics and students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy and international students participated in the exchange program.
The ceremony began with a summary of the learning content as well as an impressive presentation of Vietnamese culture, cuisine and people by students of CMU and RIDU. Next were exciting and attractive musical performances with the participation of all 3 Universities. After the cultural exchange and artistic performance, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy on behalf of the University's Board of Leaders shared with the hope that international students, in addition to updating their knowledge about pharmaceutical activities in Vietnam, will also have experience and learn about culture, the landscape and people of Vietnam.
At the end of the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai awarded certificates of participation in the 2024 summer exchange program to international students.
