Receiving the delegation from University of Malta, Malta and University of Illinois Chicago, USA.
On the afternoon of July 17th, 2023, a delegation from the University of Malta, Malta and the University of Illinois Chicago, USA led by Prof. LiLian Azzopardi – Principal of the University of Malta paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP).
Welcoming the delegation, for HUP side, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam, Rector and representatives from Department of Science Technology - Cooperation Development, Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy and Department of Pharmaceutical Economics Management.
Following the introduction about HUP by MSc. Dinh Thi Hien Van, Deputy Head of Department of Science Technology - Cooperation Development, Prof. Dr. LiLian Azzopardi - Rector of the University of Malta introduced the University of Malta - a long-standing school with more than 400 years of establishment and development, located at the intersection of the European academic elite. The University of Malta with over 11,500 students per year, including more than 1,000 international students from over 92 different countries, providing a full range of high-quality training majors from Law, Education, Engineering, Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Aeronautical Engineering, Economic Sciences, Cultural Politics, Foreign Languages, Tourism and Hotel,…
Especially, during this visit, Prof. Lilian Azzopardi also introduced the master’s degree and doctorate degree programs of the University of Malta with the hope of bringing the great opportunities to HUP students.
Also in this working visit, both parties had discussion and proposed the planning on the cooperation in training, scientific research and exchange of lecturers and students in the future.
At the end of the working session, Prof. Lilian Azzopardi expressed great thanks to HUP for the warm welcome and hoped that cooperation between the two universities in training and scientific research would be enhanced in the future.
