Receiption of the delegation from the Republic of Indonesian Defense University, Indonesia
On the afternoon of November 8, 2023, within the framework of the AFPS Conference and its side-events, a delegation from the Republic of Indonesian Defense University (RIDU) led by Prof. Yahdiana Harahap, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP).
The Indonesian Defense University (RIDU) was established on March 6, 2009 and was inaugurated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on March 11th, 2009, at the National Palace. As a government university, RIDU falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Research and Higher Education for technical development and is managed by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense for technical guidance, academic instruction, including determining educational programs, curriculum, student affairs, teaching and learning processes, and graduation.
Welcoming the delegation, for HUP side there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai – Vice Rector, along with representatives from Science technology and Cooperation Development Office and Faculty of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology
During the meeting, both universities discussed and shared information about their respective academic programs, infrastructure, as well as their future vision and mission. Particularly, the leadership from both sides concurred on a shared objective to enhance teaching methods and further strengthen a spirit of friendship, collaboration and development.
Concluding the session, Prof. Yahdiana Harahap, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Indonesian Defense University on behalf of the delegation expressed deep gratitude for the hospitality of Hanoi University of Pharmacy and hope that the collaboration between the two universities in education and research will be enhanced in the coming period.
