Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony for 10 brilliant students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
In the morning of September 21st 2017, the CKD Scholarship Award Ceremony for 10 HUP excellent students, students overcoming difficulties of academic year 2016-2017 was held at the Meeting room of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
Attending the meeting, for Daewoong Company, there were Dr. Woo Young Soo, the Executive Director of CKD Kochon Foundation; Mr. Gong Jang Min, Team Managerand Mr. Ok Chang Min, Chief of Representative Office of HCMC. For Hanoi University of Pharmacy, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai- Vice Rector of HUP; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thai An, Head of Department of Students Management; Dr. Vu Xuan Giang, Head of Training Department; MA. Dinh Thi Hien Van- Head of International Relations Department; MSc. Le Phan Tuan - Head of Department of General Administration; specialists of Department of International Relations and Department of Students Management and all beloved students who received scholarships.
Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation has the long tradition in rewarding scholarship for many students all over the world. CKD initiated its global human resources program starting in Vietnam in 2013 to take the lead in cultivating a global talent in having higher growth potential countries. CKD has expanded the global scholarship program in Africa from 2014 and till now more than 103 students of Vietnam and Rwanda were awarded CKD scholarships. And this is the fourth year that the foundation has given scholarship for students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy. Also from this year, CKD starts the program in Indonesia. 20 students of University of Indonesia and Bandung Institute of Technology will be supported with full tuition until their graduation.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai on behalf of HUP Directorate Board gave sincere thanks to Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation for the scholarship, and also congratulated to all 10 students on receiving generous scholarships this time.
Student Truong Anh Quan, on behalf of HUP students, expressed his sincere thanks to Chong Kun Dang Kochun Foundation for providing scholarship and teachers, officials who created favorable conditions to students and promised to make continuous efforts to be hard working students to become useful person for society.
