2017 Daewoong Scholarship Awarding Ceremony to outstanding students of Hanoi University of Pharmacy and Hanoi Medical University.
In the morning of 24th November 2017, Hanoi University of Pharmacy in collaboration with Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.and Hanoi Medical University solemnly held Daewoong Scholarship Awarding Ceremony to 30 outstanding students of HUP and HMU in the academic year 2016-2017.
Attending the meeting, on the side of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai- Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thai An - Head of Students Management Dept., MA. Dinh Thi Hien Van-Head of International Relations Dept., and specialists of International Relations Dept. and Students Management Dept.. M.Sc. Le Van Quang- Head of Dept. of Political and Students Affairs was the representative of Hanọi Medical University. On the side of Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. , there were Mr. Kim Dong Hyu - Chief of Representative Office of Daewoong in Vietnam and his colleagues together with the participation of all students receiving these scholarships.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is Korea's largest conglomerate of prescription drugs, not only in Korea but also in many countries around the world, which was established with the mission to improve the quality of life by providing the most beneficial total solutions in pharmaceuticals and services. Besides, Daewoong Foundation shows involvement in community services throughout the years as it has been providing financial support for students with the hope to contribute more to the society. This year is the fourth consecutive year, DaewoongFoundation awarded 30 scholarships to outstanding students of both HUP and HMU valued400 USD of each scholarship.
On behalf of HUP, Assoc. Prof. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai conveyed her sincerest thanks to the support of Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd during the past years and encouraged students to study harder to be eligible for the Daewoong scholarship.
Student Le Minh Anh, on behalf of all students receiving scholarships expressed his heartfelt thanks to Daewoong Foundation and lecturers for having been always supporting and providing chance for students to be awarded the scholarships and promised to try their best in order to achieve better results in study and personal developement to become useful people in the future.
