Summer School for francophone students of Asia-Pacific 2018

​Tongji University, in partnership with l’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, organizes a summer school in Shanghai (China) from 7 to 14 July 2018 on the theme of "Cities and Transport".

​Through conferences, workshops, thematic and cultural visits, this summer school will not only allow participants to analyze the major issues together with our academic and socio-economic experts, but also to know the practices and China's efforts in these areas. 
Conditions of participation: 
Students who apply for this summer school must be from member institutions of AUF in Asia-Pacific and meet the following conditions: 
1. Over 18 years old; 
2. Have at least an academic level of Bachelor 3; 
3. Specialize in the fields of science and engineering such as: Transport, Environment, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urbanization, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, etc. 
4. Have at least B1 level in French; 
5. Have a good level of English (be able to attend conferences, communicate and do the project defense in English); 
6. Have team and innovation spirit 
Number of students recruited: 
20 to 30 students.

Note: 
Recruited students will receive our confirmation notice by June 12th and must send us the travel insurance copy by June 15th, in order to receive our official letter of invitation. In the absence of valid travel insurance covering the duration of the event, Tongji University will have the right not to host the student at the summer school.
