Training workshop on "Labour Hygiene and Safety and Fire-Explosion Prevention in 2013"
Responding to a National week on Labour Hygiene and Safety and Fire-Explosion Prevention in 2013, on June 8th 2013, a training workshop on "Labour Hygiene and Safety and Fire-Explosion Prevention in 2013" was held at the Meeting Hall of Hanoi Pharmacy University for 114 members of the Steering Committee of Fire -Explosion Prevention and its members, the Labor Protection Council, Safety members and Leaders of theTrade Union.
Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Vice Rector, Chairman of Labour Protection Council, Chief of Committee of Fire-Explosion Prevention was attending and chairing the workshop. At the workshop, the participants were conveyed the basic contents such as the rights and duties of the employer, the employee and the Trade Union, the members of Safety Network for Labour Protection-Labour Hygiene and Safety; the purpose and significance of Labour Hygiene and Safety; the basic knowledge on techniques of Labour Protection- Labour Hygiene and Safety, the way to use and store personal protection equipment. Relating to fire rescuers and prevention, the participants were provided with the common knowledge about fire prevention and rescue, the main causes leading to fire and how to prevent it in the family and workplace as well as the needed skills in the dangerous situations, fires, handling incidents in the use of gas and electricity. During the workshop, the participants exchanged their opinion, discussed and received answers directly on some related issues and problems.
Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Vice Rector, Chairman of Labour Protection Council, Chief of Committee of Fire-Explosion Prevention emphasized that the training workshop on "Labour Hygiene and Safety and Fire-Explosion Prevention in 2013" had significant importance in instructing help each employee to know how to protect themselves, to minimize the number of accidents, injuries causing disability or death at work. It also provided knowledge to ensure good health for employees or avoid occupational diseasesdue to other causes in labor, increase knowledge, awareness and responsibility for fire rescue prevention with which we canactively take control over incidents due to fire or explosion. So each participant in the workshop is responsible for full awareness and application of what learned into practice for successful completion of the assigned tasks.
