Summary of new aspects of the thesis:
- 43 hydantoin derivatives have been synthesized, among them 32 derivatives have not been reported in references.
- The structure of synthesized compounds has been confirmed by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC, HMBC and mass spectroscopy.
- The results of the screening of antifungal, antibacterial and cytotoxic evaluation showed :
* 2 compounds exhibiting antibacterial activityagainstB.subtilis (MIC = 50mg/ml), 7 compounds against S.aureus (MIC = 25-50mg/ml).
* 2 compounds exhibiting antifungal activity against Asp.niger (MIC = 50mg/ml), 3 compounds against S.cerevieae (MIC = 50mg/ml).
* 13 compounds exhibiting cytotoxic activity against Hep-G2 (IC50 = 0,38¸5mg/ml).
