School is one of the leading centers of the country on research and application of scientific techniques in production, is the focal point of international exchange in the field of training and scientific research of the pharmaceutical sector.

The 22nd Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress at Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
On 7th April 2012 Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi University of Pharmacy held the 22nd Congress (2012- 2014).
The Launching of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology
Implementation of Decision-1043/QD-BYT- dated 08/04/2011 by the Minister of Health regarding the establishment of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology under Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
Activities on celebrating International Women's Day
On 7th March, on behalf of the University Management Board, Vice-Rector Ass. Doctor Thai Nguyen Hung Thu and Trade Union Committee representatives offered flowers to congratulate female staff and trade union members on the occasion of the International Women's Day 8/3.
HUP rewarded the leading flag in the emulation movement by Prime Minister

Towards Youth's Science and Technology Conference of the university, other national colleges of medicine and pharmacy, dated 17/02/2012, under the direction of the school leadership, Ho Chi Minh Youth Union of the University of Pharmacy in coordination with the science research department held the 16th Youth's Science and Technology Conference
Ceremony of awarding medals of 30&40 year-party membership and reward for party units and members
On 22 February 2012, the meeting of party-cell secretaries was held to implement the Decision 1243-QD/TU dated on 9 January 2012 of the Standing Committee of Hanoi Party on awarding Party medals, on the occasion of 3 February 2012.
The Annual Staff meeting in 2011
On 28th December 2011 at lecture hall 12, in collaboration with Trade Union, the University Management Board held the Annual Staff meeting to review and evaluate the results of the school year 2010-2011 and passed the directions and tasks of the school year 2011-2012 as well as elected the People ‘s Inspection Board (2011-2013).
Getting vote of credits for appointing and reappointing the title of Vice Rector
In order to get vote of credits for appointing and reappointing the title of Vice Rector, a staff assembly was held on December 8th, 2011 and chaired by the Rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy and Personnel Department (Ministry of Health).

11/11/2011 morning at school space ground , Hanoi University of Pharmacy held a solemn ceremony0f 50 years of construction and development, received the title of Labour Hero.
The speech at 50 year Anniversary of construction and development of HUP and getting Labour Hero Title (11.11.2011)
On the morning of 11th November 2011, there was a solemn ceremony celebrating 50 year Anniversary of construction and development of HUP and getting Labour Hero Title in HUP. On behalf of University leaders, Associate Professor Dr Thai Nguyen Hung Thu, Vice Rector, made an important speech at the ceremony.
